This Privacy Policy explains how ConvertGo ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. ConvertGo is a PDF toolkit that lets you merge, split, compress, organize and convert documents directly on your device. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

🔒 Privacy first. ConvertGo processes your files locally on your device. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers for offline tools, and we do not require an account to use the app.

1 Information We Collect

ConvertGo is designed to collect as little data as possible. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Files you select: processed only on your device to perform the task you requested (merge, split, compress, convert, scan, etc.).
Advertising data: our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. See Section 4.
Technical data: basic, non-identifying information such as app version, device model and operating system may be processed to keep the app stable.

2 How We Use Information

To provide the core features of the app (document processing).
To display advertisements that help keep the app free.
To maintain, improve and troubleshoot app performance and reliability.

3 Permissions We Request

ConvertGo only requests permissions needed for its features:

Storage / File access: to read the documents you choose and to save the converted files to your device.
Camera: used only when you scan a document with the in-app scanner. Camera images are processed locally and are never uploaded.

You can revoke these permissions at any time from your device settings.

4 Third-Party Services

ConvertGo uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process data (including advertising identifiers) in accordance with Google's policies. To learn more, please review:

5 Data Storage & Security

Documents created by ConvertGo are stored locally on your device. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data handled by the app. Because processing happens on your device, you remain in control of your files at all times.

6 Children's Privacy

ConvertGo is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7 Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Since ConvertGo does not maintain user accounts, most of your data stays on your device under your direct control.

8 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
