Welcome to the ConvertGo Help Center. ConvertGo is a PDF toolkit that lets you merge, split, compress, organize, scan and convert documents directly on your device. Below are answers to the most common questions — if you need anything else, just reach out.

1 What is ConvertGo?

ConvertGo is a modern PDF toolkit. You can merge, split, compress, organize and scan PDFs, and convert images to PDF — all directly on your device, without an account.

2 Is ConvertGo free?

Yes. All offline PDF tools are free to use. The app is supported by ads, which helps us keep it free for everyone. Optional cloud features may be added in the future.

3 Do the tools work offline?

Yes. Merge, Split, Compress, Image → PDF, PDF → Images, the PDF Organizer and the document Scanner all run entirely on your device. No internet connection is required and your files are never uploaded.

4 Where are my converted files saved?

Output files are saved inside the app’s Documents area and the ConvertGo folder. You can find them on the Files page in the app, and share or export them at any time.

5 Permissions the app requests

• Camera: used only by the document Scanner to capture pages. Images are processed locally and never uploaded.
• Photos: used to import images for the Image → PDF tool and to save the results you choose to export.

You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

6 How does the document scanner work?

Open the Scan tab, point your camera at a document, and ConvertGo automatically detects the edges. Capture one or more pages, then save them as a single PDF.

7 Which languages are supported?

ConvertGo is available in English, French and Arabic, with full right-to-left (RTL) support. You can change the language anytime in Settings.

8 Ads & tracking

Ads keep ConvertGo free. On first launch we ask for your permission (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

9 A tool isn’t working or the app crashed

Make sure you’re on the latest version, restart the app, and check that the PDF or image isn’t password-protected or corrupted. If the issue continues, contact us with your device model, OS version and a short description of the problem.
